How your dove
release works
Most people have never released a dove before. You don’t need to know what to do, I’ll guide you through it.
01 Before your release
Book online or get in touch if you’d like some help choosing. We’ll arrange the details, including your location, flower colours and a personal poem.
02 On the day
I’ll arrive with the doves in their prepared basket and explain how the release will happen. I’ll show you how to hold a dove, or you can open the basket if you prefer.
03 The moment of release
Your personal poem is read aloud as part of the release, and I’ll guide you when it’s time to let the doves take flight. For funerals, this usually takes place at the end of the service. Your video recording is sent to you in the days after, allowing you to rewatch and relive these precious memories.

"Warm touch to my fiancé's funeral"

"so much comfort since losing our daughter"
Can’t recommend Karen at acts of dove enough, she’s brought us so much comfort since losing our daughter Ella in February. We first had a dove release at Ella’s funeral and then had another on what was supposed to be her due date and that definitely won’t be the last, You and your doves are so special karen, thank you so much xxx

Karen was so respectful and supportive throughout our communications and managed to fit me in short notice which was lovely. "a feeling we’ll never forget"
Was such an amazing last touch we could give to our mum to make her send off the most memorable amazing one we could give her as no one deserved it more than her!! Karen made one of the hardest days of our life’s a little more peaceful. I can’t explain the feeling it gave us all when we let them go but will be a feeling we’ll never forget. "My nephew has autism and Karen helped so much
My nephew has autsim and Karen helped him so much with holding the bird as he was not sure of that he misses my mum so so much we let him hold a bird he thinks my mum got his bird as a present and it’s like he’s finally accepted her passing my nephew is like a change boy only regret I have is a wished we did it sooner if we knew my nephew would have been like that

"Doves for our wedding in memory of someone we lost"
I would highly recommend this service, we used if for our wedding in memory of someone we lost. Karen was so helpful and friendly! She answered any questions we had. We had to change our location on the last minute due to the weather and Karen was more than happy to help us with the change and made it less stressful. Thank you so much x

"such a beautiful unique touch to our day"
The Releasing of the doves was so perfect for our wedding day (they were very well behaved. Which to us shows they are well taught and very much loved). Karen shows real professionalism and her contract is fab also. Nothing was ever a bother. She even adds a little personal touch by tying in with your colour scheme also.
